Gus Kendrick’s father promised to take him anywhere he wanted to go for his tenth birthday. But Gus had to learn about the place and explain why he wanted to go. Gus did that. And he and his dad took an unforgettable trip to the Galapagos Islands, off the coast of Ecuador. Many of the islands’ unique animals have no natural predators so they are relatively unfazed by curious human visitors. Here is Gus’s report.
